Small Sacrifices by Jocelyn Kwan

My teen daughter wrote, illustrated (Manga style), and published a book to raise funds for the charity, Room to Read. Please see her blog about the project:  Jocelyn Kwan  Please consider purchasing Jocelyn’s book:  “Small Sacrifices” on Amazon.com.  This book is her MYP Year 11 Personal Project that celebrates the culmination of her MYP studies in the International Baccalaureate (IB). This book is suitable for promoting International-Mindedness and Intercultural-Understanding with your students.  It is written in bilingual English & French.  Illustrations are multicultural.  Various world financial currencies are mentioned to help readers understand that children from every part of the world can make “Small Sacrifices” to bring great change.   It supports the concept of “Action” in the Primary Years Program (IB PYP)

Every 20 books sold helps educate a child in a developing country for 1 year through Room to Read.  Please follow the progress of Jocelyn’s fundraising at her fundraising headquarters with Room to Read.

Thank you!
